ARETE Super-Skills Freestyle & Backstroke Clinic 9/12/21

Instruction: Three-time USA National Team and former Rutgers University Head Coach Chuck Warner will be the lead instructor for each clinic. On staff will be national class coaches Kirsten Hinds and Kirsten Nota. Both worked with Coach Warner at Rutgers. 

Facility: We will be utilizing both the main competition pool and the warm water  pool for our clinics. This will allow our youngest swimmers (primarily 9 an under) to do most of their stroke and turn work in the warm water but have the deep water competition pool available to them. The older swimmers will do much of their work in the competition pool but move to the warm water for some of the turn work.

Clinic Format: Approximately thirty minutes will be devoted to freestyle stroke technique, thirty minutes to backstroke technique and ninety minutes to starts and turns. 

We expect to make a great deal of improvement in the single session.If you are a returning participant in our Super-Skills Clinics we have an existing color coded skill level for your start/turn skill set.  We work in groups of approximately one coach: six swimmers.The small clinic size and coach:swimmer ratio is reflected in the higher cost than our spring Super-Skills & Strokes

The Raritan Bay Y is our best facility we've ever had for our clinics.
